About

I have been interested in photography from an early age, following my late father's interest. From the first days of my home-made pinhole camera, through Brownie Box Cameras to my latest Nikon digital SLR, I have always been aware of what makes a good photo, though I have not always achieved it! I keep trying for the perfect shot however.

My main areas of interest are flowers, gardens, landscapes, skyscapes and architecture, and I have photographed many places in the UK.

I live on the Surrey/Hampshire border and find inspiration in the beauty of the natural world that surrounds my village, the county and the whole of the British Isles.

I have suffered from severe depression for the last few years and being able to express myself creatively through photography is a great help in the recovery process.

I hope you enjoy my photographs and if you would like to know more, please email me using the Contact page.
